  1. Introduction

Welcome to ADY! These Terms and Conditions outline how ADY (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides its mobile application (“App”) to you. ADY is intended for users in Oman and operates in compliance with Omani laws and regulations, while striving to meet international standards where applicable. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree, please refrain from using the App.



  1. Definitions

  • ADY: Refers to the mobile application and its services.  

  • User: Refers to anyone who accesses or uses the App.  

  • Vendor: Refers to businesses or individuals selling products or services via the e-commerce section.  

  • Buyer: Refers to any user purchasing products or services from a vendor.  

  • Payment Gateway: Refers to Thawani Pay, the third-party service used to process transactions securely.



  1. Account Registration

To access certain features of ADY, such as posting ads or making purchases, you must register an account.  


3.1 Registration Requirements

  • When you create an account, you will be asked to agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. By proceeding, you consent to their terms.  

  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, including your full name, email address, phone number, and location.  

  • ADY reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false or misleading information.



  1. Advertisement Platform

  • Users may post advertisements for products and services within the App.  

  • You must ensure all posted content complies with Omani laws and does not infringe on third-party rights (e.g., intellectual property or privacy).  

  • ADY reserves the right to remove any advertisement that violates these Terms or applicable laws.



  1. E-Commerce Transactions

  • Vendors may list products and services for sale in the e-commerce section.  

  • Buyers may purchase these products and services directly through the App.  

  • ADY facilitates these transactions but does not own, control, or guarantee the quality of products or services listed by vendors.



  1. Payments and Fees

  • Payments are processed securely through Thawani Pay, our third-party Payment Gateway.  

  • We share necessary transaction details, such as purchase amount and user ID, with Thawani Pay to complete payments. ADY does not store or process your credit/debit card details.  

  • Vendors are charged a transaction fee of 1.5-2% per sale, deducted by Thawani Pay. For more details, see their policy at Thawani Privacy Policy.



  1. Shipping, Returns, and Refunds

  • Vendor Responsibility: Vendors are solely responsible for handling shipping, returns, and refunds.  

  • How to Request a Refund: Buyers can contact vendors directly via the App from the order page to request a refund.  

  • ADY’s Role: We do not intervene in disputes between buyers and vendors unless legally required.



  1. User Conduct

  • You must not engage in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive behavior on the App, including posting misleading ads or violating Omani laws.  

  • ADY reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse location-based features.




  1. Liability Disclaimer

  • ADY provides the App on an “as-is” basis and makes no guarantees about the accuracy, availability, or reliability of listings or services.  

  • We are not liable for disputes, damages, or losses arising from transactions between buyers and vendors or from your use of the App.



  1. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of content you post (e.g., ads, product listings) but grant ADY a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute it within the App.  

  • ADY’s name, logo, and branding are our intellectual property and may not be used without written permission.



  1. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may include links to third-party websites or services (e.g., vendor pages or Thawani Pay). We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.



  1. Termination

  • ADY may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or applicable laws.  

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@adytheapp.com or using the “Delete Account” option under Settings > Account.



  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app alert. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
